Recorder Hero: learn the recorder, one note at a time

A free recorder lesson game for kids, in your browser. It plays each new note for you, shows the fingering on a chart and painted on your own fingers through the camera, and listens through the microphone as you play. A wrong note? It shows which finger to fix, or tells you to blow more gently.

What's inside

• 12 lessons: B, A and G first, then high C and D, low E and D, and F#.
• A song library of 15 songs, from Hot Cross Buns to Happy Birthday and Twinkle Twinkle, each practiced note by note, then played through in time at your own pace.
• Stars for every lesson and song, kept on your device.

What you need

• A soprano (descant) recorder, baroque fingering.
• A computer, tablet or phone with a microphone and a camera. Nothing is uploaded.
