⭐ This half-hole note isn't in the free Recorder Hero lessons: it's in the premium lesson Half-holes & sharps. See the song pack ›
Thumb hole covered, holes 1 2 3 4 5 6 covered, half of hole 7 covered (one of its two small holes)
How to play it
- Low C# (C sharp) is low C with half of hole 7 open: hole 7 is a pair of small holes, and your little finger covers only one of them.
- Blow as gently as for low C. It's a note for later, once low C and D sound clean.
Why it squeaks or sounds wrong
- If you hear low C, both small holes are covered: roll your little finger off one of them.
- If you hear low D, both are open.
Free, in your browser: it listens as you play and shows which finger to fix.
